In 2018, he was awarded the title of the youngest traditional craftsman in the history of Koshu Inden. Although they often use products with an extrapolated flavor that seems to be a part of the modern era, and use emotional and stage-like phrases, they are consistently pure and radical.

江戸時代から続く、鹿革に漆を使い模様付けする山梨県の伝統工芸・甲州印伝。環境負荷軽減にも配慮した新たな甲州印伝ブランドと、甲州印伝の技術を用い、植物由来の生地に漆付したobudoです。

Koshu Inden is a traditional craft of Yamanashi Prefecture that uses lacquer to create patterns on deer skin that has been around since the Edo period. The new Koshu Inden brand, which also takes environmental impact into consideration, and Obudo, which uses Koshu Inden technology to lacquer plant-based fabrics.
